Special Cargo Transport Services

Non-standard cargo requirements

Special cargo is more sensitive to cargo information, documents, packing, loading, carrier acceptance, routing, port operation, and destination handling. A small mistake in one stage may affect the whole transport plan.

Common cargo types include dangerous goods, batteries, chemicals, machinery, oversized equipment, heavy cargo, special container cargo, and goods requiring extra loading or safety review.

Pre-shipment review

Before shipment, cargo name, HS code, dimensions, weight, packing method, safety documents, MSDS, photos, loading requirements, and destination rules should be reviewed as early as possible.

This helps determine whether the cargo can be accepted by carriers, whether special containers or equipment are needed, and whether the selected route is operationally feasible.

Customized planning

Special cargo planning may involve booking consultation, loading design, lashing suggestions, warehouse handling, port-side requirements, dangerous goods declaration support, and oversized cargo route coordination.

The plan should balance compliance, safety, cost, and timeline. For high-risk or oversized cargo, practical execution details are often more important than a low quotation.

Execution control

During execution, teams need to follow document status, carrier feedback, warehouse operation, loading photos, port acceptance, departure, arrival, and destination pickup requirements.

If the route or carrier changes, cargo documents and operating requirements may need to be reviewed again to avoid rejection or delay.

Service scope

Service scope can include cargo information review, DG document coordination, special container planning, oversized cargo consultation, loading and securing suggestions, booking support, port operation coordination, and milestone follow-up.
